how did I get here?
In a previous accounting role I worked with different vendors who provided various services for our clients.
I quickly learned that no matter what the service of their business was, they shared a common issue of financial management. They weren’t able to pay contractors on time, manage supplier bills, and even worse keep up with their personal finances.
The crazy part of all is they were making enough money to do it all and more. Cash flow was NOT their friend.
I was given an opportunity to help a few of these small business owners as a favor and boy was I able to get their financial life together.
I was able to provide clarity of revenue performance, figure out a strategy for managing costs, and give insights on best practices for maintaining profits.
No more robbing Peter to pay Paul, or postponing family vacations!
From that experience, came a concern for other business owners that may need my help too.
The question came, “Since I love numbers (and I’m good with them) and I’ve worked in an accounting role since forever, how do I share my knowledge and expertise to help others?”
